We are looking for a Certified Hand Therapist – CHT or Occupational Therapist with hand experience, to join our team in beautiful Medford Oregon, providing expert care and therapeutic interventions to help return patients to their highest level of function. This is a team approach working closely with our orthopedic trained hand surgeons and their staff to provide treatment in upper extremity conditions resulting from trauma, disease, deformity, and other hand conditions. Our hand therapists fabricate custom splints for patients after surgery or injuries, provide wound and scar care if needed, and use a variety of techniques and tools to benefit patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Review physician orders
• Conduct evaluations, assessments and treatments
• Provide discharge planning and instruct patients and family
• Deliver a variety of therapeutic interventions
• Maintain equipment and supplies
• Provide clear documentation and coding of treatments
• Apply best practices

Skills

• Proven work experience as a hand therapist
• Splint fabrication
• Excellent communication skills
• Positive attitude
• Experience with EPIC a plus

Qualifications

· Master’s degree on Occupational Therapy from an accredited university.

· Certified Hand Therapist Preferred.

· Current Oregon License.

· Minimum three (1) years of experience in hand rehabilitation.
