RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Must follow all rules set by the Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) and attend all related meetings and/or training sessions. Must complete post op checklists that are associated with written allergen programs and HACCP. Must be committed to and operate by Manufacturing Execution System (MES) standards and procedures.

2. Operates equipment with minimum waste.

3. ensures strict adherence to marketing label specifications regarding expiration dates, product codes, lot codes and proper container placement

4. Keeps inventory of all labels

5. Operate computer to print labels.

6. Label products and boxes.

7. Must know how to operate and sanitize metal detector

8. Calibrates the X-rays Machine

9. Train all employees on all above task and calibrate metal detector x-ray machines and labels machine

10. Knows how to trouble shoot all Inject printers and x-rays machines

11. Coordinates labels with products

12. Knowledge of lot numbers

13. Knowledge of product name

14. Knowledge of shell life

15. Responsible for accurate dates on labels

16. Responsible for USDA logo

17. Must ensure quality and Food safety

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

· High-school diploma or GED with six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Experience and ability to work in a fast paced environment.

· Ability to read, writes, understand, and speak English & Spanish

· Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

· The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time. Frequently moves product weighing 50 pounds. Often exposed to 30 degree to 40 degree refrigerated environments. Frequently communicates with employees and/or external customers and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
