Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Service Technician to join our team! In this role, you will perform a range of repair and maintenance duties for homeowners and businesses. Customer's needs will vary but will generally include light electrical, plumbing and carpentry, sheetrock repair, assembling furniture and/or painting .

You are hard-working, a team player, and dedicated to performing quality work in all that you do. Significant past experience as a professional maintenance worker is highly preferred and a positive attitude is a must!

Responsibilities:

Meet customer and conduct repair assessments and guidance
Troubleshoot and fix the problem
Purchase materials if needed on the job
Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
Explain the completed work with the customer
Collect payment upon completion of the work
Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a handyman / general maintenance
Knowledge of job site safety rules and regulations (OSHA)
Knowledge of methods, tools, and equipment used in carpentry
Have strong attention to detail and able to work independently
Be knowledgeable about Woof Handyman services
Own your own tools set: basic carpentry tools, cordless drills, hand saw, crimping tools, wrenches, hammers, etc.
Must have a clean driving record
Must be able to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 40 pounds
Must be comfortable climbing up tall ladders, working at elevated levels, and under crawl spaces
