Job Title: Executive Protection Specialist – 1–2 Month Overseas Detail
Location: Overseas assignment (specific country disclosed upon hiring)
Duration: 1–2 months (with potential for extension)
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly trained and experienced Executive Protection Specialist to join a short‐term overseas detail providing personal security to a high‐profile principal. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in executive protection, with a focus on firearms proficiency, emergency medical response, and situational awareness in high‐risk environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive close protection to the principal throughout overseas deployment.
- Conduct threat assessments and security planning for all movements and activities.
- Liaise and coordinate with local security forces, embassies, and support teams.
- Employ firearms and emergency medical skills when required.
- Execute advanced defensive driving and route security operations.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and operational discretion.
Required Qualifications
- Proven executive protection credentials—training and/or operational experience in:
- Police tactical units
- Military protective detachments or special operations
- Private executive protection firms
- Certified firearms training and demonstrated proficiency.
- Emergency medical training (e.g., EMT, combat lifesaver) preferred.
- U.S. Diplomatic Security Service (DSS) experience or Secret Service strongly preferred.
- Valid passport and ability to obtain country-specific security clearances and visas.
- Physically fit, adaptable, and able to perform in complex, evolving environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills under stress.
Desired Skills
- Previous experience in Mobile Security Deployments (MSD) within the Diplomatic Security Service (DSS) or the equivalent.
- Fluency in French or another relevant foreign language.
- Defensive driving certifications or training in evasive driving techniques.
- Experience coordinating with diplomatic or international agencies.
- Familiarity with cultural nuance and local protocols in overseas settings.
