The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness in production. This role involves working closely with production teams, design engineers, and quality control to improve existing manufacturing processes and introduce new methodologies for continuous improvement.

 

·        Process Engineering: Develop, implement, and refine manufacturing processes for security products, focusing on efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.

·        Production Support: Provide technical expertise to the production team, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing production workflows.

·        New Product Introduction (NPI): Collaborate with engineering to transition new product designs into efficient manufacturing processes.

·        Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain robust quality control systems to ensure product compliance with industry standards and security regulations.

·        Equipment Optimization: Manage and optimize manufacturing equipment, including maintenance, calibration, and upgrades.

·        Lean Manufacturing: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate waste, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.

·        Safety Compliance: Adhere to strict safety protocols and guidelines within the manufacturing environment.

·        Company Support: Demonstrate versatility and adaptability by applying specialized knowledge and skills to support broader company objectives as directed by management.

 

·        Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field or equivalent experience.

·        3+ years of similar experience. 

·        Expertise in manufacturing processes and manufacturing engineering.

·        Experience solving problems using sound industrial engineering principles.

·        Knowledge of welding, assembly and electronics techniques.

·        Knowledge of lean manufacturing, CAD and security industry is preferred.

·        Lean / Six Sigma or similar certifications are preferred.
