Job Summary:

The Assembly Operator performs precise manual assembly of Thermoplastic and Thermoset components, ensuring compliance with strict customer and quality requirements. This role involves working with adhesives, part marking, and semi-automated tools while maintaining high safety and 5S standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble components using tools such as engraver units, pneumatic crimping tools, potting compound dispensers, and hydraulic presses

• Set up new jobs independently with minimal scrap or rework

• Train and delegate tasks to junior-level operators

• Identify and escalate quality issues within the production cell

• Measure components using calipers, micrometers, height stands, and CMM

• Maintain a clean, organized workspace in line with 5S principles

• Accurately complete all required documentation

• Follow written and verbal instructions precisely

• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality, output, and cost

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of assembly experience using semi-automated tools

• Basic computer and math proficiency

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred

• Ability to stand for long periods and work in above-ambient temperatures

• High reliability in attendance and task execution
