️ Now Hiring: Preventive Maintenance Mechanic (Evening Shift) – Maryland Packaging | Halethorpe, MD

Part-Time | Monday–Friday | 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Maryland Packaging, a fast-growing, family-owned food manufacturing company, is seeking a highly organized and experienced Preventive Maintenance Mechanic to join our evening operations team.

This is not just a maintenance job — it’s a mission-critical role where your attention to detail, preventive care expertise, and mechanical insight will directly impact the quality, speed, and safety of our production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on a wide range of industrial food processing and packaging equipment.

• Maintain accurate logs, records, and compliance with maintenance schedules.

• Set up production lines, including calibration and configuration of metering, filling, and packaging systems.

• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues before they become major problems.

• Work in coordination with our evening production crew to ensure all lines are running efficiently and safely.

✅ Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial maintenance or mechanic role within a manufacturing or food production environment.

• Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, gearboxes, conveyors, fillers, and packaging machinery.

• Must be highly organized, clean, and meticulous with documentation and maintenance logs.

• Comfortable working independently and managing a structured maintenance schedule.

• Ability to assist with line setups, changeovers, and minor operational adjustments on packaging lines.

• Availability for evening shifts from 5 PM to 11 PM, Monday through Friday.
