Safari Solutions is looking for an Accounting Associate, someone with a desire to be an integral part of our finance team. The right candidate will have the current skills to handle the job responsibilities below, the desire to learn and grow, and the capacity to develop this position into a larger role in our organization over time. This is a full-time, in office position; this is not a remote role.

Our growing company’s Cedar Knoll, NJ office has about 20 employees, and we have more than 100 more that live and travel around the globe to support our clients’ projects. So, this position has the benefit of a small company working environment, but the diversity and complexity of work offered by a larger firm. We expect you to build relationships and become an integral part of our finance team.

The skills and qualifications you should have if you respond to this posting:

• Associate’s degree in Accounting or similar required; Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or similar preferred or equivalent education and 1 to 2 years of experience
• QuickBooks Enterprise, full working knowledge.
• Demonstrated Microsoft Excel proficiency
• Strong time management and organization
• Concur and Autotask software experience is a plus.

Your work may include the following and similar responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable: review and enter invoices; reconcile invoices to purchase orders; manage credit card payables by entering data from expense software.
• Reconciliation: Reconcile credit card and other accounts monthly.
• Company Performance & Reporting: prepare and analyze company and division reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data from accounting and services software. Assist the Controller in this area.
• Banking: process incoming payments, regardless of method; apply payments to customer accounts in QuickBooks; prepare and initiate daily deposits for bank, and report amounts received daily.

Compensation and Benefits

· The salary range for this position is between $45,000 and $55,000.
