- Develop and lead strategic initiatives that address critical national security priorities, from concept through implementation and evaluation
- Build cross-functional teams to execute complex initiatives in challenging global environments and support the Head of Strategic Initiatives with the mentoring of the team and manage the Entrepreneurs in Residence Program
- Establish initiative objectives, metrics, timelines, and resource requirements aligned with organizational priorities
- Develop and promote relationships with key stakeholders including senior US military leaders, Department of State officials, foreign partners, and civil society organizations
- Design and implement project lifecycle management processes including planning, budgeting, procurement, logistics coordination, and post-project assessments

- Analyze geopolitical developments and security trends to identify emerging opportunities for Spirit of America's involvement

You have a vast network of relationships and build trust easily with diverse stakeholders from government officials to frontline implementers. With many demands that exceed capacity, you maintain the ability to prioritize effectively and focus resources on initiatives with the highest potential impact. You have the mental agility to navigate easily across multiple complex projects and geopolitical contexts. You learn quickly and find creative ways to overcome obstacles. You are confident, resilient, and organized. You are a gifted communicator who can articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
