CNC Machine Shop Manager FULL -TIME Position located in Anaheim  

Job Summary:

The CNC Machine Shop Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating all activities within the CNC machining department. This includes managing personnel, ensuring production targets are met, maintaining quality standards, and optimizing workflow efficiency. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with strong leadership and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and schedule daily operations of the CNC machine shop.
• Lead a team of machinists, programmers, and operators to meet production goals.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Oversee machine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with engineering, purchasing, assembly, sales, and production planning teams to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, tools, and consumables.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Train and mentor staff, conduct performance evaluations, and support professional development.
• Maintain accurate records of production output, machine utilization, and operational costs.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a CNC machining environment.
• Strong knowledge of CNC programming, G-code, and CAD/CAM software.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and quality control systems.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Highly skilled at performing dimensional and visual inspection of CNC machined parts.
• Proficient in computer software such as ERP/MRP, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or other related technical field is a plus.

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Production Manager. As Production Manager, you will be responsible for managing the production flow from the CNC Machine Shop and Deburring Department. You will manage a Team of 20 Production Team Members, including 4 Department Leads across 2 Shifts.
