1st Shift Operator

Location: Oklahoma City, Ok 73149

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | Overtime Optional

Pay rate: 19.00 per hour

Duties:

1. Maintain punctual and dependable attendance.
2. Promote and model a strong commitment to safety by adhering to all safety and health protocols.
3. Assist department management in implementing safety updates and improvements.
4. Ensure full compliance with all company policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
5. Operate equipment such as band saws and shredders for battery processing.
6. Sort and remove shredded materials from equipment.
7. Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

1. Education:
   • High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
2. Regulatory Knowledge:
   • Familiarity with OSHA and EPA regulations (preferred).
3. Physical Capability:
   • (a) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs individually and up to 137 lbs with team lift or lifting equipment.
   • (b) Ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, bend, stoop, and lift consistently throughout the shift.
   • (c) Good hand/finger dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
   • (d) Physically and mentally able to complete job tasks safely and efficiently under time constraints.
4. Health & Safety Compliance:
   • (a) Must pass a medical evaluation and respirator fit test for PAPR (Powered Air-Purifying Respirator).
   • (b) Must pass and maintain a clear background check and a negative drug screening.
5. Skills:
   • (a) Strong attention to detail.
   • (b) Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
   • (c) Effective problem-solving and customer service abilities.
   • (d) Strong organizational skills and ability to follow instructions precisely.
