Praxis Resources, a rapidly growing custom manufacturing company that has been in operation
for 28 years, is seeking a human resources specialist to join our team.
The Human Resources Specialist will oversee day-to-day HR operations and handle all facets of
the employee relations compliance, training, and company culture building. Candidates should
have a strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations, have the ability to handle confidential
information with discretion, and possess the ability to communicate well and lead a team. In
addition, candidates should understand that it’s only through the efforts of each individual doing
their part that a team can succeed. We are looking for a hardworking, goal driven, fast-paced
individual that knows the value of mutual respect and understands that doing a job correctly
makes everyone’s job easier.
This position is on-site employment, and it requires employees to be timely in attendance.
Qualifications:
Desirable applicants should have the following:
2+ years in a HR leadership role as well as 5+ years in a HR position
Bachelor’s Degree in HR, business or related field of study, along with HR Certification
(e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR)
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, coaching and conflict resolution skills; writing skills
are essential, and the ability to work well with others while maintaining a positive
attitude is imperative.
Job Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Managing full-cycle recruitment for all departments.
Coordinating onboarding and orientation for new staff
Supporting managers in performance reviews, corrective actions and professional
development.
Handling sensitive employee relations issues, including investigations and terminations in
a professional and confidential manner.
Administering programs related to compensation, benefits, and employee leave.
Ensuring compliance with Arizona labor laws, OSHA, FMLA, AND EEO regulations.
Maintaining accurate records and assisting with HR audits.
Provide coaching and support throughout the employee life cycle.
Managing and delivering company-wide communications including legal notices and
government filings using e-mail and other electronic systems, and ensuring accurate
information concerning policies, documents and announcements.
