Hiring Now: Senior Solutions Analyst / Project Manager
Location: On site in Houston, TX.

I'm excited to share a new opportunity for a Senior Solutions Analyst who brings a blend of business analysis and project leadership, specifically within accounts payable systems.

This role requires a strategic thinker with deep functional knowledge of AP/accounting processes, strong systems support capabilities, and the confidence to drive automation and process improvements. If you’ve worked in the Oil & Gas industry and enjoy wearing multiple hats across systems, business, and stakeholder management, this could be the right fit for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert support for internal and external accounts payable systems and users.
• Troubleshoot system issues and maintain performance, security, and data integrity.
• Act as a liaison between business users, vendors, and internal IT teams.
• Gather and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Lead AP system-related projects—upgrades, enhancements, new feature development, etc.
• Conduct user and vendor training and manage documentation.
• Monitor system performance, perform root cause analysis, and produce meaningful reports.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation strategies.
• Ensure alignment with best practices, internal controls, and compliance requirements.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or Accounting
• 10+ years of experience with AP/accounting systems in a solutions analyst or similar role
• Oil & Gas industry experience is required
• Strong understanding of oil & gas accounting practices
• Proficient with tools like TOAD, Business Objects, Spotfire, Power BI
• Experience with: Oracle SQL, memSQL (SingleStore), WPF, React, iOS app development. Python, Elasticsearch, DB2
• Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Proven experience leading cross-functional projects
• Familiarity with SOX controls and QA/QC testing is a plus
