Content Marketing Manager
Job Summary:
The Content Marketing Manager is a leadership role responsible for developing and implementing the organization's marketing strategy to enhance brand visibility, drive customer acquisition, and increase revenue. This position oversees all marketing functions, including digital marketing, advertising, promotions, public relations, and market research. The Content Marketing Manager collaborates with the executive team, including the CEO, COO, and sales leaders, to align marketing initiatives with business objectives and deliver measurable results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marking strategies to achieve company goals, such as brand growth, market share expansion, and customer loyalty.
- Conduct market research to identify customer trends, competitive positioning, and growth opportunities.
- Set measurable objectives and KPIs for marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy.
- Brand Management:
- Oversee the development and maintenance of a consistent brand identity across all channels, including in-store, online, and media.
- Ensure brand messaging resonates with target audiences and differentiates the company from competitors.
- Manage brand reputation, including crisis communication and public relations efforts.
- Campaign Development & Execution:
- Lead the creation and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital (social media, email, SEO/SEM), traditional (print, TV, radio), and experiential (events, sponsorships).
- Oversee the production of marketing collateral, such as advertisements, promotional materials, and content.
- Monitor campaign performance, analyze ROI, and optimize strategies to maximize impact.
- Digital Marketing:
- Drive digital marketing initiatives, including website management, content marketing, social media strategy, and paid advertising.
- Leverage data analytics and customer insights to personalize marketing efforts and improve conversion rates.
- Stay updated on emerging digital trends and technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing marketing team, including roles such as content creators, digital marketers, graphic designers, and PR specialists.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, encouraging creativity, and accountability.
- Set performance goals, conduct evaluations, and provide professional development opportunities.
- Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across campaigns and initiatives.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors, agencies, and media partners to optimize costs and quality.
- Track expenditures and report on financial performance to the executive team.
- Collaboration & Partnership:
- Partner with sales, operations, and product teams to align marketing efforts with inventory, promotions, and customer experience goals.
- Collaborate with external agencies, influencers, and media outlets to amplify marketing reach.
- Work with the COO & Director or Store Operations (if applicable) to ensure in-store promotions and merchandising align with marketing campaigns.
- Customer Engagement:
- Develop strategies to enhance customer loyalty through programs like rewards, memberships, or personalized offers.
- Analyze customer data to segment audiences and tailor marketing messages effectively.
- Oversee customer feedback mechanisms to improve satisfaction and brand perception.
- Reporting & Analytics:
- Use analytics tools to track marketing performance, including metrics like customer acquisition cost, conversion rates, and brand awareness.
- Provide regular reports to the executive team on marketing outcomes and strategic recommendations.
- Leverage insights to refine strategies and drive continuous improvement.
- Qualifications and Skills:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field required; MBA or master's degree preferred.
- Experience:
- 7-10+ years of progressive marketing experience with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role (e.g., Marketing Manager, Marketing Director)
- Proven success in developing and executing marketing strategies in retail, e-commerce, or consumer-facing industries.
- Experience managing multi-channel campaigns and cross-functional teams.

- Strong leadership and team management skills to inspire and guide diverse teams.
