Job Description

RED-WHITE VALVE CORP. – In business since 1971, RED-WHITE VALVE CORP. is a supplier of valves for the plumbing, industrial, commercial and HVAC markets.

Job Duties include Hydronic Components Processor, Technical Support and Inside Sales Support.

This job requires training. We are willing to train the right person who can perform the below job duties and has the required qualifications.

Location: Lake Forest, California

Hours: 7:00AM – 4:00PM

(Overtime as needed)

Job Duties

Hydronic

Quote, process purchase orders, and provide technical support for the hydronic control valves and kits. This includes:
- RFQ’s
- Coil kit configuration
- Updating the coil kit purchase order status excel spreadsheet
- Process coil kit purchase orders
- Process work orders and related production orders
- Create Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Work with assembly of coil kits to schedule coil kit order schedule priority and questions regarding configuration or purchase order instructions
- Provide technical support for coil kits and components
- Work with Coil Kit Team to provide administrative support

Technical Support

Provide technical support and assistance for valves and other products

Inside Sales

Provide quotes to customers
Assist with questions regarding item availability
Process standard Purchase Orders
Provide status information for Purchase Orders
Provide Customer service for inside sales by answering customer’s inquiries and requests
Process sample and literature requests and provide support to Regional Sales Managers
Research shipping errors and issues - assist customers with discrepancies such as shortages , overages, wrong items received, etc.
Answer phones
Other duties as required by Office Manager

Qualifications

Bilingual preferred (Spanish/English), but not required
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
3+ years of experience in Inside Sales
5+ years of experience in Customer Service
Familiarity with Plumbing and HVAC components preferred
Experience with Sage (or similar ERP system) a plus but not required
Ability to read blueprints
Must be proficient in Excel
Must be an effective communicator
Detail oriented
Team player
