Pride Health is hiring a Specimen Processor (3rd Shift) to support our client’s medical facility in Irving TX 75063. This is a 03+ months with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Title: Specimen Processor (3rd Shift)

Location: Irving TX 75063

Pay Rate: $16.00 - $17.20/hr. on W2.

Shift: Evening M-F 3:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Duration: 02+ months

*Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Receive and sort clinical lab specimens for testing and analysis.
• Prepare specimens and ensure accurate scanning/data entry of specimen and patient information.
• Perform minor maintenance on lab equipment and ensure proper functionality.
• Troubleshoot specimen-related issues as needed.
• Replenish test bench supplies when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Complete record logs and other administrative tasks as assigned.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Medical laboratory background Preferred.
Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Data entry skills preferred.
• Medical background preferred which includes medical terminology applicable to a clinical laboratory.
• Previous experience in a production environment preferred.
• Prefer familiarity with mainframe computer operating system.
