Substitute Teacher – Dallas, TX & Surrounding Communities

Teachers Now is actively seeking dependable and enthusiastic Substitute Teachers to serve schools across Dallas, TX and nearby areas. This is your chance to make a meaningful impact by ensuring instructional continuity when full-time educators are unavailable.

• Deliver classroom instruction by following the school’s prepared lesson plans

• Create and maintain a structured, supportive, and positive learning environment

• Guide student engagement and manage behavior to support learning goals

• Supervise students in classrooms and common areas such as hallways, cafeterias, and playgrounds

• Assign and monitor classwork and homework in alignment with lesson objectives

• Maintain attendance records and report any issues to school administrators

• Collaborate with staff to support both academic and behavioral success

• For long-term placements, prepare and implement your own lesson plans in accordance with school curriculum

• Available Monday through Friday

• Full-Day Schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Half-Day Shifts: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM or 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM

• Minimum of 60 college credit hours or an Associate’s degree (required)

• Bachelor’s degree or valid Texas Teacher Certification (preferred)

• At least 1 year of experience in a classroom or childcare setting

• Excellent communication skills in English—both verbal and written

• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
