Job Title: Player Development Supervisor

FLSA Status: Salary, Exempt

General Definition: Expand and establish player data base by creating special guest functions, services, and activities. Responsible for ensuring successful execution of all VIP on and off property events and promotions. Communicates and develops close relationships with departmental managers and community leaders by acting as liaisons between guest and the facility.

Supervision Received: Marketing Manager

Supervision Exercised: Junior Host

Essential Job Functions:

  • Build and maintain groups for casino events and promotions.
  • Administers and Executes VIP promotions and events, on property and off.
  • Work strategically with vendors to coordinate set up, décor, catering, etc for VIP events and promotions.
  • Assists in the idea generation for the design of VIP events and promotions.
  • Communicates and interacts with all operating departments and vendors to ensure proper execution of all promotions and events.
  • Resolve customer disputes concerning Club card point reward system and complimentary amenities, based upon specific casino guidelines and the levels of play. Coordinates the proper resolution of customer dispute resolutions, issues, and concerns with related departments and follows through to ensure fair and equitable resolutions are achieved.
  • Update staff on all upcoming events and casino programs. Coordinate and dispense information to facility and patrons on upcoming events via e-mail, customer mailings, and use of casino-based management systems.
  • Maintains and provides analysis on data to Gaming Operations Director ensure player growth.
  • Assist in determining procedures regarding patron comps and establishing pricing structure for amenities; including but not limited to direct billing accounts and procedures in compliance with MICs and TICs regulations.
  • Work with Casino Marketing teams to generate pre and post event analysis.
  • Evaluate programs for profitability and patron satisfaction
  • Forecast future budgeting needs to Casino Operations Director, through analysis of play, promotional programs, organizational activities and special events.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business Administration related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including technical writing skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to provide both summaries and detailed reports
  • Must have basic math skills in order to perform assigned job duties correctly.
  • Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, ACSC system, and casino based facility software and be able to accurately type.
  • Must be able to review and comprehend player-tracking screens, reports, and all other necessary information and documentation.
  • Ability to network and establish relationship with individual prospective guests and groups that display and demonstrate potential gaming value.
  • Understand the application of MICs and TICs regulations (preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to research and analyze various types of data information
  • Demonstrated commitment to and proficiency in customer service culture
  • Ability to establish credibility with managers and employees
  • Self-motivated with the ability to operate independently, work proactively, and to achieve results without close supervision

Training:

  • Must be able to pass Title 31Training
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in marketing related field
  • 4+ years’ experience in gaming operations, promotions, and/or guest service
  • 2+ years’ experience in a leadership role

Licenses/Certifications/Other:

  • Must be able to pass a background check and receive a license or permit from any Regulatory Agency if applicable to perform the essential job functions
  • Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug test with a negative result

Physical Requirements:

  • Strength:
    • Light to medium workload
    • Will be required to lift up to 20lbs, or exert occasionally over 50lbs
  • Movement:
    • Stand, sit and walk consistently
    • Will consistently be required to touch, feel, stoop, bend, kneel, climb, reach
