Outside Sales Representative

Job Description:

The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for the sale of Company products and services through developing and maintaining customer contacts within an assigned territory or area of responsibility.

Works under the general direction of the Sales Manager; exercises discretion and judgment on work priority on a regular basis. Self-managing; works well under little supervision.

Summary of Essential Job Functions:

• Maintain a positive and ongoing business relationship with existing customers.
• Develop plans to satisfy prospects and customers’ needs and present solutions to customers. Generate sales reports each week and submit them to management.
• Follow up on all installations to ensure complete customer satisfaction, handle all customer and prospect requests in a timely and professional fashion, and see through to completion.
• Follow up aggressively on all leads. Makes personal sales calls at customer sites on a regular basis.
• The Account Manager is responsible for the sale of concrete products, solutions and services through developing and maintaining customer contacts within an assigned territory or area of responsibility. All other duties/special projects as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

· Maintain a valid Driver’s License

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· 2-3 years outside sales experience

· Aggressive, assertive and driven

· Able to work in any weather climate

· Able to lift and move material or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

· Open availability to workdays and evenings, if needed
