Alden + Mara is a fast-growing DTC jewelry brand specializing in effortless, lightweight earrings in 14k gold, sterling silver, and vermeil. Our pieces are made to elevate the everyday—and now we’re expanding into select physical locations that match our elevated aesthetic.

We’re looking for a stylish, self-motivated sales rep to help launch our retail partnerships program. Think high-end salons, boutique day spas, facial studios, luxury fitness spaces, and curated retail corners—anywhere customers are in a “treat yourself” mindset.

If you’re energized by the challenge of building something new and meaningful, you’ll play a key role in helping shape how Alden + Mara shows up in the real world.

You will be responsible for:

• Identify and pitch ideal businesses to carry Alden + Mara
• Present our products, brand story, and partnership options
• Set up compact in-store displays and merchandising materials
• Manage relationships and coordinate restocks
• Gather customer feedback and share insights with the team
• Resolve occasional customer concerns with warmth and professionalism
• Collaborate on marketing and display assets as we grow

​Qualifications:

• Prior experience in sales, client-facing roles, or brand partnerships
• Bonus: background in jewelry, beauty, or luxury goods
• Strong people skills—you’re confident, warm, and good at reading the room
• Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in follow-ups
• Self-starter who thrives with autonomy
• Access to a car for in-person visits

Compensation: This is a contract role with commission-based earnings and flexible hours. Perfect for someone looking to be part of an early-stage brand with room to grow.

Territory: Northern Virginia / DC area
