Now Hiring: HVAC Service Technician (Full-Time)

Location: Advantage Cooling and Heating

Pay: $15 – $26/hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, with rotating on-call/weekend shifts

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. If you’ve got at least 2 years of field experience running service calls, solving problems, and installing HVAC systems—and you take pride in your work—you’ll fit right in.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, maintain, and install HVAC and refrigeration systems (residential + light commercial)
• Communicate clearly with customers and offer solutions when needed
• Complete jobs efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards
• Maintain accurate service records, time logs, and job documentation
• Order parts, manage tools, and keep inventory organized
• Work independently or with a team while following Texas codes and regulations

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 80 lbs, climb ladders, and work at heights
• Work in heat, cold, tight spaces, and dusty conditions
• Stand, kneel, crouch, and reach as needed
• Use hand tools and diagnostic equipment effectively

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to troubleshoot and read wiring diagrams
• Comfortable with quoting and recommending service options
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
• Safe driving record and reliable transportation
• Team player with a solid work ethic and good communication

✔️ Requirements:

• EPA Certification (or ability to obtain)
• 2+ years of HVAC service experience (preferred)
• Valid Driver’s License
• Customer-focused, dependable, and self-motivated
