Carolina Plus Urgent Care is seeking experienced PRN Nurse Practitioners/PRN Physician Assistants to join our care team in various shifts. We’re searching for individuals with compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to help our patients affect lasting change. Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses.
• Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments.
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients and document results.
• Finish charts appropriately and in a timely manner.
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities.
• Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care.
• Familiarity with patients whose age range is six months to that of the geriatric population.
• Place IVs and blood draws as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Successful Candidates Must Have:

• SC Nurse Practitioner License or SC Certified Physician Assistant Licensure (PA-C) required
• DOT Certification required (Not mandatory)
• A minimum of six months of experience in an urgent care/ER setting is required (Mandatory).
• Previous experience in primary care/family medicine is helpful
• IVs and drawing blood experience a plus
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership qualities
• ​Ability to commit to PRN shifts
