ON-SITE SUPERVISOR
Qualifying questions:
- Must have at least 1-2 years or previous supervisor experience
- Must have at least 1years of previous staffing experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish is required
- Must show longevity on resume and no job hopping (less than 1 year at each company)
Job Purpose:
The on-site supervisor acts as a liaison between the client and our associates. Their main responsibility is to relieve client supervisors of their labor-related administrative duties pertaining to company associates. With direction from management, they are responsible for meeting the day-to-day client performance and quality objectives, ensuring a smooth working relationship and a performance driven workforce to meet the program expected results.
Essential Functions:
• Fill and service client orders efficiently through interviewing, testing, hiring and placing temporary employees; identify qualified associates through the company's process to create an inventory sufficient to meet current and future client demands
- Conduct recruiting activities (if required by contract with client)
• Provide follow-up to clients ensuring satisfaction of filled orders
• Attend account planning meetings
• Monitor arrival time/attendance of associates to meet daily headcount needs
• Act as primary communication contact for associates
• Troubleshoot client management workforce concerns
• Conduct associate orientation of client policies & procedures, safety and training
• Supervise all temporary associates on assignment, and provide coaching and counseling when required; maintain thorough documentation utilizing company technology, and complete reports as required
• Monitor associate production/quality efficiencies and make necessary corrective actions
• Perform associate evaluations
• Attend forecasting meetings with client management
• Review company policies and procedures with both temporary and permanent associates
• Schedule, check-in and provide pre-assignment orientation to all temporary employees
• Maintain and audit record keeping for client and temporary associate files
• Implement company award programs to recognize good performance, attendance, and
safety awareness.
• Risk Management activities: Respond to all Workers’ Compensation claims as soon as they are reported and follow procedure to ensure our employees are offered medical treatment on the date of knowledge of the injury. This will include communication with the Risk Management Department, the corresponding medical facility, employee, and follow-up with clients to communicate work status restrictions.
- Complete Worker’s Compensation required documentation within 24 hours of the date of knowledge of the claim. Update Risk Management Coordinator with Injury details and work status of the injured employee.
• Conduct daily floor walks to check on productivity or employees, interact with employees and evaluate on-site location for safety risk.
- Complete safety walk-through checklist and submit to your Risk Coordinator daily.
- Communicate and work with the Human Resources team regarding any HR related matters such as complaints, investigations, reasonable accommodations, reasonable suspicions, etc. to ensure proper handling. Communicate updates with the employee(s) involved, and client accordingly.
