Job Summary
Founded in 1866, Pacific School of Religion (PSR) is a leading progressive Christian seminary, graduate school, and center for leadership development and social impact. PSR transforms individuals and communities through a flexible, stackable curriculum its graduate program and a collaborative, lifelong learning platform, PSR Collective on Kwaray.
For forty years, the Theological Education for Leadership (TEL) program has provided accessible progressive Christian theological education through special courses and seminars for clergy, laity, and spiritual seekers from diverse racial/ethnic communities. Students that have completed TEL often use this as their entry point into the broader graduate program. In late 2024, PSR launched the online learning platform, Kwaray, and is currently releasing the TEL courses online under the "PSR Collective" on Kwaray. To help bring the TEL programming closer to churches and congregations, we have launched the Congregational Renewal Cohort (CRC) program. The CRC is designed to support congregations in assessing and adapting their ministries to thrive in a changing world. CRC partners with religious congregations to strengthen their ministries, deepen relationships with their communities, and contribute meaningfully to the world around them.
PSR is hiring for a Manager of Program & Growth, who will lead the strategic expansion and operational coordination of both programs. This role combines program management with recruitment and outreach, advancing PSR's mission to cultivate diverse, justice-centered faith leaders. Reporting jointly to the Director of CRC and the Sr. Director of Marketing, Growth & Communications, the Manager builds strong relationships with Bay Area congregations, supports emerging leaders of color, and strengthens systems that ensure program excellence and measurable impact.
