Position Title: Territory Sales Manager – HVAC & Plumbing Parts & Equipment
Location: Wichita, KS (Territory includes Wichita and surrounding areas)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Compensation: Commensurate with Experience + Performance-Based Incentives

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Territory Sales Manager to join our growing team in Wichita, KS. This position is responsible for driving profitable sales growth across a designated territory through the promotion and sale of HVAC and plumbing parts, supplies, and equipment. You will build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, mechanical firms, plumbing professionals, and facilities teams by providing tailored solutions and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a territory sales strategy to meet or exceed assigned revenue and margin goals

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing customers

  • Promote and sell a wide range of HVAC and plumbing products including:

    • Fittings, valves, pumps, piping, hydronic systems, control systems, and HVAC equipment

  • Conduct regular customer visits to understand needs, recommend products, and offer technical support

  • Prepare quotes and proposals tailored to customer specifications and project needs

  • Coordinate with inside sales, purchasing, and warehouse teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment

  • Track customer activity, sales pipeline, and opportunities using CRM tools

  • Stay current on market trends, competitor activity, and new product developments

  • Attend industry trade shows, vendor trainings, and promotional events as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in outside sales, preferably in HVAC, plumbing, or industrial supply distribution

  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC and plumbing parts and systems

  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

  • Ability to build trust and long-term relationships with contractors and end-users

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM systems

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel daily within assigned territory

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time and priorities independently

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical background or trade experience in HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical systems

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred but not required)

  • Familiarity with inventory systems and distribution channel sales

  • Experience working with OEMs and manufacturers in the HVAC and plumbing space

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base salary commensurate with experience
