Job Details

This is a salaried, full-time position. Candidate will be responsible for soliciting, evaluating, and preparing bid proposals to general contractors and owners. Candidate will be expected to work with the Estimating staff, as well as the Purchasing and Accounting Departments. The individual will be responsible for managing simultaneous subcontractor and equipment quotes, and understand construction field conditions and project schedules.

The ideal candidate will have:

· 10+ year Estimator experience in the construction field

· Experience managing multiple, simultaneous projects including labor

· A strong background in sheetmetal, HVAC, piping, and plumbing; including commercial and light industrial

· Highly skilled in reading and understanding drawings, specifications, and bid documents

· Ability to accurately compile a summary of materials, equipment, and labor

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Operating of normal office equipment including computers and related support equipment

· Experience with reading and understanding drawings

· Ability to pass drug testing, background check and must have a valid driver's license

· Experience with local building, HVAC and energy codes
