Our client is a global manufacturing corporation that has consistently grown throughout the United States over the past 5 years- opening brand new facilities across the country.   They have great benefits including high matching on 401k plans and excellent work/life balance.    Their Michigan plant continues to grow internally.  Due to promotion, they are looking to hire a new Engineering/Maintenance Manager

Main duties/functions include:

• Directly lead a team of roughly 20 Engineers, Maintenance Technicians, Quality and Tooling Specialists
• Lead major capital projects throughout the facility, maintaining the budgets and timelines o these projects
• Ensure the plant is meeting all goals pertaining to safety, quality and production
• Establish new PM programs
• Utilize skills such as Lean, CI and Six Sigma to drive process improvements
• Hire and train new technical professionals

Qualifications include:

• BS in Engineering (or similar field) required
• Experience leading engineering and maintenance in large manufacturing plants
• Capital project experience
• Strong Lean/CI mindset
• Superior leadership and communication skills
