Join a professional team in Palo Alto, CA, specializing in asbestos remediation and site decontamination. As an Asbestos Abatement Technician, you’ll help safely remove hazardous materials from residential and commercial buildings during demolition or reconstruction phases. This is a full-time, day shift position with a Monday through Saturday schedule, ideal for candidates looking to stay active and hands-on in the field. The role requires a strong work ethic, safety focus, and attention to detail in physically demanding environments.

Responsibilities:

• Build containment areas to prepare for safe asbestos abatement.

• Remove hazardous materials using approved hand and power tools.

• Clean work areas, tools, and equipment according to safety standards.

• Load and unload contaminated materials for proper disposal.

• Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate protective gear.

Qualifications:

• Valid Asbestos Awareness Certification (8+ hours required).

• Respirator fit tested and medically cleared (must bring own mask).

• Experience in demolition, mitigation, or remediation preferred.

• Ability to perform physical labor in confined spaces and varying temperatures.

• Strong understanding of safety protocols and PPE use in hazardous environments.
