As a Manhattan Pain Fellow, you will tackle a wide variety of interesting challenges, and uncover key insights that will drive positive outcomes for our patients. Modern office space with cutting-edge technology and mature EMR, allowing physicians to access from home. The support staff is robust allowing you to focus on patient care and procedures.

MRHS physicians perform thousands of procedures each year which provides a learning opportunity for fellows in our program. We pattern the experience after our own fellowship training at Harvard Medical School with the intent of giving trainees in the program exposure to the fullest scope ranging from the simple to the most cutting-edge complex interventional sports and minimally invasive spine procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Exposure to advanced interventional procedures including SCS, PNS, Kyphoplasty, Intracept, Vertiflex, Percutaneous, and Endoscopic Discectomy, BMAC, and complex regenerative approaches as well as innovative concepts such as Ketamine Virtual Reality therapy
• Less than 5% opioid management in practice
• The program lasts 12 months with an option for an 18-month advanced program emphasizing minimally invasive advanced spine procedures

Qualifications:

• PMR, Anesthesiology, Neurology, or Psychiatry resident
• Candidates must be BC/BE in their primary specialty and be prepared to sit for the American Board of Pain Medicine exam

• Bilingual Spanish and English are preferred
• Must be willing to travel to some satellite offices, therefore, a car is helpful. We have locations in all five boroughs and Long Island
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
