Ferncroft Country Club is a 50-year-old first class, full service, family friendly private club on the North Shore, convenient to I95. The Club is open year-round and dining outlets include a 19th Hole Grill Room, Jones Room Formal Dining Room, Robert Scott Ballroom, Pool House Kitchen and Snack Bar, along with a Roof Deck offering scenic views of the golf course.

We are currently seeking a Line / Prep Cook with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and a passion for cooking.

A successful candidate should have at least one year experience, ideally in a fast-paced fine-dining environment. We are willing to train anyone who wants to learn and grow as a cook. Main duties will be to assist in the food production and plate up of lunch and dinners for an a la carte cooking line. Other duties will include assisting in the production and plate up of events at our weddings/event/outing facilities.

Safe-serve certification desirable. Great working environment offered, and no late nights—the club closes 8-9pm depending on the season, 4pm on Sundays in the off-season. Exact compensation is based on experience, and there is room for advancement for the right applicant.

Ideally we're looking for a full-time hire, though the position could also be split between two part-time people. Club-assisted health insurance is available for all full-time team members. If you have a preference for full- or part-time, please let us know when applying. No calls please.
