Job Summary
Marick Mechanical, a leader in commercial refrigeration, HVAC, and mechanical services for over 50 years, is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind our growth, responsible for building lasting relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their unique operational needs, and providing them with tailored, high-value mechanical solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Sales Execution: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand our market presence within an assigned territory.
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities through networking, referrals, market research, and targeted outreach to commercial and industrial clients.
- Consultative Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough site assessments and client meetings to understand their specific HVAC, refrigeration, and mechanical challenges, operational goals, and financial considerations.
- Solution Development & Proposal: Collaborate with our internal engineering and technical teams to design and propose effective solutions. Prepare and deliver clear, accurate, and compelling sales proposals, quotes, and contracts.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and identifying opportunities for repeat business and referrals. This includes selling and promoting our comprehensive preventative maintenance agreements.
- Negotiation & Closing: Lead negotiations with clients to successfully close sales deals while ensuring profitability and alignment with company guidelines.
- CRM & Reporting: Diligently track all sales activities, manage pipelines, and maintain accurate customer information using our CRM system. Provide regular reports on sales performance and market trends to management.
- Industry Expertise: Stay current with the latest industry technologies, market trends, and competitor activities to effectively position Marick Mechanical as the premier service provider.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
- 3-5+ years of experience in a B2B sales role, with a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated and highly organized with excellent time management skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
Preferred:
- Experience in the commercial HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical services, or a related technical industry.
- Demonstrated success in selling long-term service or preventative maintenance agreements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Technical aptitude with the ability to understand and explain complex mechanical systems and read technical specifications or blueprints.
