Warehouse Supervisor – Coaching, Enforcement and Team Support

Globus Global Safety is located in Ramsey, Minnesota and is one of the leading glove & safety wear providers in the United States. Globus Global Safety manufactures and distributes industrial work gloves, high-visibility safety wear, and Bullhead Safety eye-wear; selling through authorized distributors/wholesalers in North, Central and South America.

Summary/Objective:

The Warehouse Supervisor coaches, trains, and enforces best practices of the warehouse team. Is involved with daily work flow and tasking employees with loading and unloading trailers, order pulling functions, outbound invoicing, moving, handling, and tracking product and packages within the warehouse.

Essential Functions:

- Monitor, assign and maintain orders in the P21 warehouse management system.

- Assist with loading or unloading of trucks making sure that freight processes and safety procedures are followed.

- Maintains a clean and efficient warehouse.

- Operating forklifts safely and responsibly. We will train as needed.

- Coordinates the staff to the needs of the business.

- Troubleshoot general warehouse issues as needed.

- Train, coach and enforce standard operating procedures and best practices.

- Provide support to team members to be successful in their roles and task.

Competencies:

- Basic computer skills.

- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

- Must be comfortable with providing and receiving constructive feedback.

- Ability to multi-task and be on your feet all day.

- Previous warehouse management experience is preferred.

- Forklift experience preferred, but will train the right individual.

- Ability to stand, bend, twist, climb and reach throughout complete shift.

- Attention to detail.

- Ability to communicate effectively.

- Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pound cases.

- Ability to coordinate and see to completion of assigned projects.

Position Type: This is a full-time position.

Expected Hours of Work: Monday through Friday, 9:30am to 6:00pm.

Required Education and Experience:

· High school diploma/GED required.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $23-$25 hourly, DOQ
