Job Summary: The Bilingual Door-to-Door Sales Representative will be a key ambassador for Upstanding Roofing, directly engaging with homeowners in assigned territories, focusing on the 77064 zip code. This role is crucial for proactively identifying potential roofing projects, educating homeowners about our services in both English and Spanish, and setting appointments for detailed roof inspections and estimates. This position offers a competitive base salary, uncapped commission, and performance bonuses, providing significant earning potential for driven individuals passionate about sales and helping people.

Key Responsibilities:

• Door-to-Door Canvassing: Proactively engage with homeowners in designated neighborhoods, including the 77064 zip code, initiating conversations about their roofing needs in both English and Spanish.
• Lead Generation: Identify potential customers with roofing concerns (e.g., storm damage, age-related wear, desire for upgrades) through effective canvassing and initial qualification.
• Educate Homeowners: Clearly articulate the benefits of Upstanding Roofing's services, materials, and processes in an easily understandable manner for both English and Spanish-speaking clients. Provide accurate information regarding various roofing options and the insurance claims process.
• Appointment Setting: Schedule qualified, confirmed appointments for our Roofing Specialists to conduct thorough roof inspections and provide detailed proposals.
• Relationship Building: Develop rapport and trust with potential clients from diverse linguistic backgrounds, representing Upstanding Roofing professionally and courteously at all times.
• CRM Management: Accurately record all customer interactions, leads, and appointments in our CRM system daily.
• Market Knowledge: Stay informed about industry trends, local weather patterns, storm activity, and competitor offerings to effectively address homeowner concerns in the local market.
• Goal Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly lead generation and appointment setting targets to contribute to team sales goals.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with Roofing Specialists, Sales Managers, and the office team to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience from initial contact to project completion.
• Compliance: Adhere to all company policies, ethical sales practices, and local solicitation ordinances, ensuring professional conduct.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish is required (strong verbal communication skills are essential for client interaction).
• Previous experience in D2D sales, canvassing, or direct customer engagement is a plus, but not strictly required. We provide comprehensive training for motivated individuals.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to build rapport quickly, listen actively, and articulate information clearly and persuasively in both languages.
• Self-motivated, highly disciplined, goal-oriented, and resilient: Capable of working independently, managing your own schedule, and handling rejection professionally.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a desire for high earnings.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and Saturdays as needed, to maximize opportunities to connect with homeowners.
• Physical ability to walk for extended periods (4-8 hours daily) in various weather conditions common to Houston.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable personal transportation is required.
• Familiarity with roofing, construction, or home remodeling terminology is a strong advantage.
