Position Overview:

We’re seeking an experienced Medical Director with an active California medical license (MD or DO) to oversee the clinical operations of our licensed Congregate Living Health Facility (CLHF) in Victorville, CA. This leadership role includes authority for clinical decision-making, oversight of patient care standards, and ensuring compliance with California state regulations.

A CLHF is a residential medical care setting—typically housing 6 to 18 beds—offering 24/7 skilled nursing and medical oversight in a homelike environment. These facilities serve medically fragile patients who have transitioned from hospital settings and require ongoing subacute to intensive care. Common populations include:

• Ventilator- or tracheostomy-dependent individuals

• Patients recovering from catastrophic injuries (e.g., stroke, spinal cord injury)

• Individuals with progressive terminal or life-threatening illnesses

• Patients with complex medical needs (e.g., feeding tubes, wound care, multiple therapies)

CLHFs bridge the gap between full acute care and skilled nursing, delivering inpatient-level services in a smaller, more personalized setting. As Medical Director, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining clinical integrity, improving outcomes, and supporting the well-being of patients with high-acuity care needs in a compassionate environment.
