We are seeking a dedicated OTR CDL Truck Driver to join our dynamic team in the Transportation/Trucking/Railroad industry. As an OTR (Over-The-Road) driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across long distances, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position involves long hours on the road, overnight travel, and various weather conditions, making it essential for candidates to possess excellent driving skills and a deep understanding of federal transportation regulations. 

Responsibilities

• Transport goods and materials safely and efficiently to various destinations across long distances.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safe operation in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Plan and manage routes effectively to optimize delivery efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding transportation and safety.
• Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery status and any potential delays or issues on the road.
• Provide excellent customer service when delivering goods, handling any questions or concerns professionally.

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with OTR endorsement.
• Minimum of 2 years of driving experience with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of federal and state trucking regulations and safety practices.
• Strong navigational skills and the ability to use GPS and other routing software.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills to adhere to tight delivery schedules.
• Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading cargo.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with dispatch and customers.
