We are looking for skilled, compassionate, and driven Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRTs) to join our expanding Home Oxygen Equipment and Service team in Long Island, NY, and surrounding areas. This role will report directly to the Branch Manager in the Holbrook, NY office. The Registered Respiratory Therapist will deliver equipment, provide clinical evaluations and education to our patients and caregivers; complete all necessary documentation and respiratory therapy to patients consistent with company policy and Joint Commission (TJC) requirements.  The ideal candidate will be able to work independently. Compassion for the elderly and a patient-centric nature are a must. All Therapists must be licensed in the state of NY or NJ and be able to handle patients in New York and New Jersey.

 Qualified candidates will have an Associate degree or equivalent; or two to four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. must be a licensed Respiratory Therapist in the State of New York and New Jersey and be open to obtaining licenses in PA, CT and DE (which will be paid for by Panakeia when the license is obtained.)  Home ventilator experience preferred.  Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds on a regular basis and occasionally lift and/or move up to 150 pounds. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must, along with the ability to understand and articulate services that we offer. Valid Driver’s License and the ability to pass a background check/drug screen are required.  Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills.  Qualified candidates should send a resume.
