Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Support company operations, including but not limited to:
- Coordinate enrollment process for pharmaceutical patient assistance programs
- Maintain all patient enrollment requirements
- Manage consistent communication with patients, provider offices, drug manufacturers regarding enrollment and treatment status
- Communicate with insurance and drug companies regarding prior authorizations and benefit information
- Organize and maintain all incoming data pertaining to patient assistance, including but not limited to incoming and outgoing faxes and emails
- Communicate with oncology provider offices to maintain treatment schedules
- Prioritize time sensitive information and ensure it is forwarded to appropriate department within and outside of the company
- Engages in research for eligible drug assistance programs
- Provides a supportive financial advocate role for referred patients
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Over one (1) year of healthcare related coordination experience – experience with administrative and clinical aspects of healthcare preferred
- Work-related experience in an insurance or payor setting is a plus
- Work-related experience in a pharmaceutical setting is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred

Skills & Requirements:
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
- Must be well organized, detail-oriented, able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have exceptional customer service skills – this is an external facing position that interfaces with patients, providers, and personnel of pharmaceutical and insurance companies.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
- Ability to manage priorities of a daily fluctuating workflow.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to work as part of a team
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, and related software
- Experience with EMR systems preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality while working with patient medical information
