Receptionist (Pay based on experience $16 to $21)

Fast paced veterinary practice seeking a friendly and outgoing receptionist with a flexible schedule. We are looking to bring someone on to our team with prior Veterinary experience and looking to grow within our company.

Tasks include:

  • Checking/Checking out clients
  • Answering phones
  • Reviewing prescription requests
  • Going over surgical discharges
  • Offering Wellness Plans and Trupanion Insurance Exam Day offers
  • Creating charts for appointments and drop-offs
  • Prioritizing appointment requests and client concerns based on patient condition
  • Follow up calls from prior day appointments
  • Calling clients back with answers from our doctors
  • Discussing lab results depending on the severity of the case
Qualifications

  • Proven veterinary experience, particularly in a front desk role
  • Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal care practices
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Familiarity with medical collection processes and pet care
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
