Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team. This role involves everything from diagnostics to maintenance, including after-hours and weekend road calls. We need a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic and the ability to troubleshoot and repair diesel trucks and trailers efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, and other components.
Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and PM services to ensure DOT compliance.
Respond to after-hours and weekend road calls to assist with breakdowns.
Work independently to identify, repair, and prevent mechanical failures.
Maintain accurate service records and complete work orders in a timely manner.
Keep work areas and tools organized and in good condition.

Requirements:

✔️ Minimum 3+ years of experience as a heavy diesel mechanic
✔️ Own tools (essential for the job)
✔️ Strong knowledge of diesel engines, emissions systems, hydraulics, and electrical components
✔️ Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues quickly and efficiently
✔️ Valid CDL (preferred but not required)
✔️ Ability to work independently and handle emergency breakdowns
✔️ High level of motivation and commitment to safety
