Oar Staffing is conducting a search for a Metrology Test & Evaluation Engineer

The position is located in a southern suburb of Cleveland

This is a DIRECT HIRE

This position requires a strong background in electronic engineering, experience in measurement environments, and familiarity with applicable standards.

Knowledge of the ISO 17025 standard is preferred.

In this role you will

• Design, implement, and maintain robust metrology systems and procedures to ensure high standards of measurement accuracy and precision.
• Analyze customer requests and requirements, conducting thorough testing and analysis to devise tailored solutions that best meet their specific applications.
• Perform calibration and validation of measurement instruments and equipment, adhering to industry standards and company protocols to ensure reliability and consistency.
• Collect and analyze measurement data, providing detailed technical reports and actionable recommendations for improvements and optimization.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience working in a measurement environment, including the use of precision measurement instruments and systems.
• Strong understanding of measurement principles and applicable standards.
• Familiarity with calibration procedures and techniques.
