Job Details

Job Summary:
The Assistant Kitchen Manager reports to the Kitchen Manager. The Assistant Kitchen Manager on part time basis supervises the kitchen staff both paid and volunteers in the preparation and handling of all food when the Kitchen Manager is not present. He/She is responsible for the general cleanliness, food safety, and appearance of the Brother Benno kitchen and dining facility. In addition, he/she manages inventory, oversee food distribution, and ensures adequate number of food handlers for each meal served. This position is an hourly position and will sometimes require execution of duties outside normal work hours.
