General Contractor in Orange County seeking a highly skilled Sage Construction Software Accountant with expertise in Sage 300 CRE software, AIA billing and lien release management. The ideal candidate will have extensive construction accounting knowledge, including job costing, billing, and contract management. This is an in-person full-time position.

Key Responsibilities:

· Process AIA G704 pay applications, ensuring accurate and timely submissions, manage/track conditional and unconditional lien releases, and preliminary notices in compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.

· Must have a minimum of 5 years of accounting experience within the construction industry and Sage 300 CRE (Timberline).

· Preliminary notices and lien releases.

· Process payroll through ADP, expense reimbursement, and bank reconciliations.

· Preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets.

· Ability to report in GAAP to corporate CPA.

· Administering and managing of company's profit-sharing plans.

· Assist with HR and new hires.

· Insurance

· Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to resolve billing and financial discrepancies.

· Process full-cycle accounts payable and receivable in Sage 300 CRE, including invoice verification, vendor statement reconciliation, and Subcontractor disbursement preparation.

Qualifications:

· Proven in accounts receivable and accounts payable procedures related to construction projects.

· Experienced with construction contracts, change order processes, and compliance requirements for subcontractor W-9s and insurance certificates.

· Meticulous attention to detail, accuracy in financial reporting, and organizational skills.

· Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

· Microsoft Suite with an emphasis in Excel.
