Position Summary: 

ISI Professional Services is seeking a Contract Management Specialist (CMS). This is a temporary position for approximately 3 months. The contractor provides acquisition support to the Directorate Management Division (DMD), Administration and Contract Liaison Branch (ACLB) at the Pentagon, including directorates and subordinate branches in support of the facility’s overall objectives.  

 The successful candidate will have experience in federal contract administration and acquisition support. They will play a key role in facilitating task order execution and oversight, supporting facilities-related services and renovations within a secured facility, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders. This position requires strong initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to manage contract documentation, compliance tracking, and data analysis tasks across multiple fast-paced workstreams

Essential Job Functions 

  • Independently manage day-to-day tasks with minimal oversight in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.

  • Prepare deliverables based on verbal and written taskings, often under tight timelines and with evolving requirements.

  • Track, analyze, and present contract-related data using advanced Excel functions, including graphing and trend analysis.

  • Attend and document high-level meetings; produce accurate, timely meeting minutes with both summary and detailed elements.\

  • Maintain and update contract tracking systems and records, ensuring contract documentation is complete, accurate, and accessible.

  • Support oversight of the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) program, including tracking compliance with required Department of Defense (DoD) training.

  • Coordinate with stakeholders to track and validate contractor personnel, points of contact, and onboarding/offboarding status.

  • Monitor and interpret contract documentation, including task orders, PWSs, SOWs, QASPs, and FAR-based clauses.

  • Support vendor validation and research tasks using government systems such as sam.gov.

  • Assist in the preparation of executive-ready briefings, reports, and communications for leadership and federal clients

  • Maintain and organize digital records and working files using Microsoft SharePoint and other platforms.

Required Education and Experience:  

1. Education: Bachelor’s Degree

2. Experience: Five (5) years of Acquisition experience, with contract-related administrative/analytic experience of Federal construction contracts.

3. Clearance: An active Secret is required for this role

4. Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Microsoft Office products with emphasis on: Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (SharePoint experience is a plus)

5.  Good written and oral communication skills. 

6.  Secure Facility ExperiencePrevious experience a plus

7.  Stakeholder ManagementDemonstrated experience in communication and coordination among multiple stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and other third parties.

8.  Organizational SupportExperience in creating comprehensive summary reports and organizing and maintaining document retrieval that complies with standards.

Work Setting/Environment/Travel Requirements:

  • Monday through Friday, Normal business hours 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
