Benefits Coordinator

Fuller Agencies - Globe Life of Overland Park is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Benefits Coordinator to join our team in the Overland Park, Kansas area.

Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated professional to manage and coordinate our comprehensive employee benefits programs. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with a growing organization that has been serving hardworking Americans since the 1900s, ensuring our team members receive exceptional benefits administration and support.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and coordinate all employee benefit programs including health insurance, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and retirement plans
• Process new hire benefits enrollments and manage changes during open enrollment periods
• Serve as primary contact for employee benefits questions, issues, and claims resolution
• Conduct new employee benefits orientations and explain plan options clearly
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations including ERISA, COBRA, ACA, and FMLA
• Prepare required government reports and filings
• Create and distribute benefits communications, summaries, and educational materials
• Assist with benefits audits, compliance reviews, and annual renewals
• Maintain confidential employee files and documentation
• Support HR team with benefits-related projects and initiatives

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
• Self-motivated with entrepreneurial mindset
• Ability to work independently and manage client relationships
• Resilience and persistence in overcoming challenges
• Coachability and willingness to learn from experienced mentors
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

• College education beneficial but not mandatory
• Sales or customer service experience
• Strong relationship-building skills
• Drive and determination for success in commission-based environment
