Job Summary: Looking for something fun, different and challenging? Modern Expo & Events is looking to expand our workforce! The following position is currently available: Entry-Level Project Manager in Expo and Events. This is an entry-level position with a great opportunity for growth in an exciting field and company. The perfect fit will be a proactive, customer-focused event professional with excellent organizational and communication skills and a knack for creative problem solving. Types of events include: expositions, trade shows, corporate events, parties & galas, and meetings. Competitive salary and benefits commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide frontline customer assistance throughout the event lifecycle.
  • Process and track all exhibitor orders using Boomer, keeping accurate financial records and proactively securing payment for all services.
  • Provide show site support, ensure exhibitor orders are completed, and work at the service desk during event move-in, show hours, and move-out.
  • Plan, service and manage the use of utilities, equipment, freight and other exhibitor services and provide updated exhibitor requests to the appropriate department for installation.
  • Keep the Account Executive and Production Supervisor informed of all exhibitor requirements for events by preparing and distributing detailed reports, layouts, and set-up requirements. Communicate changes before and during events.
  • Provide excellent customer service assistance to exhibitors, guests, and internal clients.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of exhibitor information across events.
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services offered, troubleshoot and resolve any issues therein.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support as needed.
