YOU WORK HARD = WE PAY GOOD...Growing Property Management Company seeking a General "Maintenance" Handyman who is timely, friendly, reliable, flexible, accountable, hard-working, ethical, moral, true-to-their-word, and NO BS oriented. Position reports directly to Owner and will be responsible for the daily maintenance operations of our residential rental property portfolio, positioned throughout the Minneapolis-St. Paul Metro, and surrounding Minnesota suburbs.

CAREER DUTIES | RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities Required Will Revolve Around Maintenance Issues Relative to Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, Appliances, Carpentry, and | or Other Respective General Property Repairs:

  • Troubleshoot and Diagnose Maintenance Issues.
  • Perform Maintenance Repairs Resulting from Troubleshoot | Diagnostic Testing.
  • Subcontract Company to Troubleshoot, Diagnose, Repair, if Unable to Perform.
  • Negotiate Pricing and Terms with Subcontracted Company.
  • Manage Permits if Required by Local, City, State Authorities.
  • Conduct Preventive Maintenance Property Inspections.
  • Exterior Maintenance (Lawn Care | Snow Removal | Grounds Cleaning).
  • Facilitate Property Flips Between Tenant Occupancies.
  • Coordinate Service Scheduling with Tenants.
  • Communicate with Property Owners to Explain Maintenance Repair Requirements.
  • Provides Genuine and Heartfelt Customer Service.
  • Whatever Else Necessary to Complete Job Excellently!
  • Other Miscellaneous Duties as Assigned.

CAREER SPECIFICS:

  • FULL-TIME POSITION. ON-CALL NIGHTS | WEEKENDS | HOLIDAYS.
  • $18-$25 | HOUR PAY (DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE).

Position pay varies based off experience. Bottom line is if you exude and emit the PERSONAL DUTIES | RESPONSIBILITIES above; yet, do not retain extensive EXPERIENCE, but are willing to learn, the offered pay will be closer to $18 | HOUR with room to excel to $25 | HOUR and beyond! The growth of the company is dependent on securing this position with someone who will strive to thrive so we can offer such benefits, provide a vehicle, and all the other fluff that employees' love. We want to get there; but, need someone to enjoy the ride with us.

CAREER EXPERIENCE:

  • HOUSE KNOWLEDGEABLE EXAMPLES: Do You Understand the Purpose of a Gutter? Do You Know the Difference Between an HVAC and Boiler System?
  • HANDY EXAMPLES: Do You Know How to Change a Light Bulb? Can You Tell the Difference Between a Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detector? What about the different types of fire extinguishers?
  • LIABILITY-MINDED EXAMPLES: Do You Know Where a Carbon Monoxide Detector Should Be Placed? Do You Know Why? What About a Fire Extinguisher?

CAREER REQUIREMENTS:

  • High-School Diploma. 5+ Years General Maintenance Experience.
  • Communicative (Verbal and Written).
  • Technologically Minded (Apple Products).
