Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Wound Care Nurse/Nurse Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in wound management, patient education, and multidisciplinary care. You will work closely with our team of specialists to provide comprehensive wound care services to patients, ensuring optimal healing and improving their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized wound care treatment plans.
- Perform wound debridement, dressing changes, and other wound care procedures.
- Monitor wound healing progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and families on wound care management, prevention, and lifestyle modifications.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care.
- Document patient care activities and progress in the electronic medical record system.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in wound care practices and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) with a valid license to practice.
- Certification in Wound Care (WCC, CWOCN, CWS) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in wound care management.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient education abilities.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
