Job Summary
A new high-end boutique cigar store seeks enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Sales Associates to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while assisting them with their shopping needs. You will engage with customers, demonstrate products, and ensure a positive shopping experience in a grocery store environment. Your ability to communicate effectively and handle transactions accurately will be key to your success in this position.

Cigar knowledge/experience is not necessary but definitely a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed throughout their shopping experience.
• Demonstrate product features and benefits to enhance customer understanding and satisfaction.
• Process transactions accurately using the cash register and handle cash with care.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring products are well-stocked and displayed attractively.
• Answer customer inquiries regarding products, promotions, and store policies.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain high standards of customer service.
• Utilize basic math skills for cash handling and retail math tasks as required.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers.
• Proficiency in basic math for handling transactions and ensuring accurate cash management.
• Experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.
• Ability to perform product demonstrations effectively to engage customers.
• Experience with cash handling and operating a cash register is a plus.
