Job Title: Experienced Line Cook (Weekend Availability Required)
Location: FIZZWERKS, Durham, NC
Schedule: Part-Time Evenings Friday–Sunday (required)
Compensation: Competitive hourly pay based on experience

Who We’re Looking For

We are hiring an experienced Line Cook who thrives in a clean, organized, high-output kitchen. You must be reliable, communicative, and serious about food. This is not an entry-level role — at least 1 year of professional kitchen experience is required. You must also be available Friday–Sunday evenings until at least 10:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Execute dishes according to our recipes and plating standards
• Maintain a clean and organized station throughout service
• Prep and label ingredients, manage mise en place
• Communicate clearly and calmly during service
• Uphold high standards for food quality and kitchen sanitation
• Follow ServSafe protocols and contribute to a respectful, safe environment
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries, rotating stock, and minimizing waste
• Participate in catering events as required, ensuring high-quality meal preparation for large groups.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen stations

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen
• Available Friday–Sunday evenings until ~10:30pm
• Able to lift 50–75 lbs and work on your feet for 5+ hour shifts
• Solid knife skills and ability to follow detailed recipes
• ServSafe certification a plus
• Must be 18 or older
