The manager position requires a multi-tasking, high functioning, and driven person. Candidate should enjoy working with children and parents in a fun, fast paced and creative environment. You will be helping to create a memorable, positive experience for families. We are looking for someone who brings a lot of energy, drive, and hustle to our team. 

This is a management position. You must lead by example and be comfortable managing team members and delegating tasks.

You will be responsible for multiple team members, managing and carrying out the business processes and procedures at the established high standards. You will be coordinating and communicating with parents about parties and events. You will be working closely with a small executive team. 

You have a natural curiosity to learn, work well both independently and as part of a team, and exhibit a high degree of professionalism.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include working directly with the business owner and operations director to plan and execute parties, curate events and projects, review and replace inventory and supplies, train new and existing team members providing guidance and positive reinforcement, and ensure general accountability amongst them. Overseeing the daily operations of the studio, including: open and closing procedures, providing high levels of customer service, staffing and scheduling and/or making necessary modifications, inventory management and proper cash handling.

You will also be working and managing parties, providing amazing customer service, cleaning and tidying of the studio, organizing and restocking supply and project areas. Project and supply prepping, party and event planning. Coordinate and communicating with parents about party details. Maintaining a smile and positive attitude.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of restaurant/hospitality/retail management experience in a fast-paced, full-service environment

  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills

  • Hands-on manager with a customer-first mindset and high attention to detail

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred

  • Weekend and holiday commitment required

  • Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)

  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and lift up to 30 pounds

  • Fluency to read and communicate in English

 

Other qualifications preferred:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required

  • Perennial happiness
